 Hi, everyone!

I do apologize for the late post, but so much has been going on irl.

One of the main issues was that my fiancé (who helps with packing and shipping… since I don’t drive) had to have hand surgery to remove a type of cyst on his hand, and his tendons had to be placed back where they belong. So, that slowed things down.

We have been working on packing slowly during this time. I’m hoping in a week or two to start shipping stuff out when he thinks he can help carry the boxes of envelopes.

Also, during packing, I noticed Backerkit saying everyone got 2 of Luna and 2 of Artemis pins. After looking into it, for some reason, it doubled up on the incentive pins, but no one was charged for them. So, unless it says 3 or more, I’m assuming it’s part of this issue. I’ll still double-check on things if it seems weird.

On the Moon pins, the manufacturer made more, but we’re currently doing a digital quality check. If you got Moon, we might have a delay in sending those out compared to other backers, but I’m trying hard not to have that happen.

Okay, onto the next campaign!

I talked last time about a display book for the next campaign, and they’re kinda pricey to have made. I also didn’t think they looked great. Of course, that’s my opinion.

A friend helped me come up with an idea… custom shape felt board 3D printed frames. I tested with a planet with a ring shape, though some people think it’s Kirby x_x. I currently don’t have the felt board pieces yet, but this is what it looks like so far:



The felt board is 9mm thick so that both sides can be used. I’m still working on the frame design, so any ideas/suggestions on it are more than welcome.

I’m thinking of doing a cat head outline with rounded whiskers coming out from the side for the next campaign. What do you all think?

The pre-launch and launch party pages are up. I’m getting the plushie prototype worked on now. I’m going to contact my purse and pin manufacturers about prototypes, too. Since each object will have the same overall shape, just various colorways, it shouldn’t take long to make a different variant. So here’s hoping I do better this time.

 

Hi, everyone!

I kept trying to find time to write up this post, but I was busy getting ready for the convention, then busy at the convention, after that, I was busy getting ready for surgery, of course, surgery day, dealing with being out of it from meds, and so on.

So, we did get the pins before the convention, but weren’t able to go through them and pack any orders up. We were working on art, printing, button making, and finding everything we needed for our table up until we left for Columbus.

We brought the pins with us and were able to go through a quarter of them. After the convention and surgery, I wasn’t able to go through them myself, but my fiancé was doing the hard work and finished recently. Some designs have issues with bent posts, but should have enough for most designs to be sent out. The one design that has the biggest problem is the Moon design. There’s a spot on half of them where the metal is warped/bent/dipped, and it can be VERY noticeable. I’ve messaged my representative about Moon to see if there’s anything they can do about it. I hope they can replace them due to the sheer amount that are bad.

I’m hoping to start packing and shipping this coming week, little by little. From this posting time, I’m giving everyone a week to fix their address and payments, if needed. I will be locking addresses on Sunday, September 28th, at 11:59 PM Eastern.

Another friend of mine, Luca, and I are working on Pintopia 2026. We’re going to have an Ita bag, pins, and at least one plush. We’re currently sketching things out and hoping to talk to our manufacturers soon to get estimates and begin the prototyping process. I’m thinking of getting at least 1 pin mold made before the event. I’m also considering doing something for return backers, but I don’t have any ideas at the moment.

I’m thinking that for the pins and plush, each cat type will have their own expression, so all of them won’t have the puffy tail. Not sure yet.

Also, would anyone be interested in a printed cover, pin display book? I’m debating adding that to the next Pintopia’s stretch goals.

I have a quick update.

I charged cards today between 9 am-10:15 am Eastern. 

For some reason, Stripe still had my old identity descriptor (Kickstarter) even though I updated it to Arivelle or Arivelle Carowyn. After charging some people, I had a feeling to double-check it and fixed it.

So if you were charged with Kickstarter, that was me. Hopefully, after I fixed it, it stayed fixed for others who were charged afterwards.

I should be getting the first batch of pins on the 19th of this month and the other batch between the 20th and 22nd.

Hi, everyone!

I was waiting for an update on production from my manufacturer before posting again.

7 of the 13 buttons are produced and completed with quality inspection. Three of them are in quality inspection currently, one is in production, and two designs failed the quality inspection, so they are being reproduced.

They asked if I wanted to wait for shipping until all were completed or send the current completed ones to me now. I asked for the latter so I can do my quality check before the convention, and hopefully, I'm able to ship some packages out as well before the convention.

I know that I currently need to order more Luna and Artemis, but I want to wait to order more until I check on the first batch.

I'm going to start charging people's cards within the next two days, so I can ship and order more pins as soon as I can.

I apologize for the delay; I've now sent the surveys to everyone.

I've already ordered the pins with a rough estimate of what I need for everyone and the convention. If I need to order more to fulfill the campaign orders, I will as soon as I find out how many more I need to order.

I also made more changes. Not only will Chibi Moon be 2 inches, but so will Nall, Pluto, and Neptune. They too looked too small compared to the others. I also made Chibi Moon rose gold and Nall nickel plated. The two didn't look that great in gold in my opinion.
